"....First of all, the product has been extremely helpful in performing data analysis that would otherwise take many hours of work (i.e. utilization benchmarking and physician impact analysis). We are able to incorporate specific external benchmark databases very easily with the assistance of the staff in the main Clinsaver office. Otherwise, we would not be able to do that type analysis on our own with our other current software vendors. Certainly the reasonable amount of time that it has taken on our end to implement the product and external databases, is a small exchange for the amount of valuable analysis and information we get from the reports Clinsaver generates.
The Clinsaver team has been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our whole experience with them. Even when we presented them with some software and hardware challenges from our end, they were able to come through on the existing version of software, or incorporate our requirements into their upgrade versions.
Essentially, the whole implementation was looked after by one of our Utilization and Clinical Information Analysts in a relatively minimal amount of time and with little assistance from our Information Systems Department. This individual has little technical training in information systems, except that which he received through his education as a health information management professional, or in the course of his regular duties as an HIM manager. Subsequent maintenance of the system databases (i.e. import of our regularly monthly abstracted data) is now routinely uploaded with minimal effort....."
